When building in Steamboat Springs Colorado, it’s important to consider the extreme temperatures in both the Summer and Winter months. In the Winter Steamboat Springs will experience frigid -30 degree temperatures, and in the Summer temperatures can get well into the 90's. With that in mind, the Architects on this project wanted to be sure to select a building system with a high insulation value. This was particularly important since their goal was to design a LEED certified building.
