The owners of Harbourview were looking for a product to meet code, be easy to use and improve construction time.  Not only did they get what they were looking for, but they were also able to build through the winter months. ARXX Edge ICFs not only met the requirements, but allowed the builders to easily apply the exterior  finishes of stucco and cultured stone directly onto the ICF panels creating the desired design.   ARXX Edge was used to construct the exterior walls, corridor walls, demising walls, mechanical rooms (1 per unit), elevator shaft, and stairwells.  The light weight and knock down characteristics of ARXX Edge ICFs allowed the crew to hoist an entire floor of block on to the floor area further reducing time and costs.   Building with ARXX Edge also allowed the builders to go from an 8” wall to a 6” wall at a corner, thereby eliminating a 2 1/2” step return.  The building envelope created by ARXX Edge resulted in a scaled down HVAC system offering further energy cost savings.
