Hensel Phelps chooses ARXX ICF for new training and flight simulator/training hangar project at Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort SC.

ARXX insulating concrete form technology was chosen for the Training and Flight Simulator/Training Hangar project at the Marine Corps Air Station, currently under construction by Hensel Phelps Construction Co. in Beaufort, SC. ARXX was selected because of the comprehensive approach they offered to support the project, including a staff architect and engineer available to provide value-engineering solutions, as well as ARXX’s extensive portfolio of projects and track record of success.

Wesleyan Church

The design of the Wesleyan Church project included many narrow spaces and high walls.  ARXX insulating concrete forms allowed the crew to work easily within tight spaces and stay on schedule.  In fact when the owner was doing his initial research he found that ARXX ICFs were more cost efficient than tilt-up, wood frame, steel frame grid and concrete block (CMU) construction for this project.
