HOW IT WORKS
Building with ARXX ICF: five construction steps combined in one.
Building with ARXX is fast, easy, cost-effective and energy efficient. ARXX ICFs combine five steps used in conventional wood frame construction into one. ARXX ICFs provide:
1. structure
2. insulation
3. vapor and air barriers
4. sound barrier
5. fastening strips
ARXX forms are snapped together to create the walls and foundation.
Snap in rebar and pour concrete.
ARXX forms stay in place. The result is a an energy-efficient, air-tight building with greater comfort, since the foam panels act as an air and vapor barrier in addition to adding insulation. This saves substantial heating and cooling costs, and will reduce HVAC requirements and costs.
Projects are stronger too, with excellent fire-resistance, wind-resistance and seismic strength. Concrete cures longer and better, in all weather, due to ARXX’s design.
Building interiors are more comfortable, with less temperature variation, less noise, and better indoor air quality. ARXX is perfect for demising walls, hotels, townhomes, theaters, and churches.
Projects finish sooner, because an ARXX wall takes the place of several construction steps with just one.

Alta Vista Manor
The Alta Vista development is a retirement residence consisting of 218 resident rooms on 5 floors, plus an underground garage. Each of the 14,500 sq. ft floors took only 4 weeks to complete, including the 5 days needed to place the pre-cast flooring. The ARXX Edge walls provides exceptional noise reduction, which is important to the building owners and residents, as well as increases protection against fire and high winds.
